What is a commercial invoice?
A commercial invoice is a copy of your order that includes the description of the product you bought, its value, and the total of your order.
Why is it needed?
Your package needs its commercial invoice in order to be shipped to your home country. It is used by Customs in your country to process your package to calculate import duties and taxes. Without the commercial invoice, we are forced to place a hold on your package in Miami until we receive proper documentation because your local government will not allow us to import your package without its invoice.
How to send your invoice
You have two options:
You can send your invoice before your package gets to our warehouse using our Send Your Invoice form.
When the store sends you a shipment confirmation email, copy the tracking number they provide (this can start with a 1Z*, 9, TBA, 4, LS**, etc.). Go to our website and go to the menu bar at the top of the page. Click on Send Your Invoice and fill out the form using your tracking number. Your commercial invoice will be uploaded directly to your package the moment we scan it in our warehouse when it first arrives. Our system will link your tracking number to the alert you sent. This option is the most cost-efficient given we won’t have to hold your package for no invoice.
Upload your invoice directly to your held package
If your package arrived with no invoice, our system will place your package on hold. You will be able to upload your invoice directly to your package when you login to your account. Simply look for your package and use the Upload Invoice button. Once uploaded, our system will update the status of your package within 24 hours.
