How to Ship Items to Colombia

Here are some tips you should take into account when buying things to import into Colombia:

1. Alert your packages! It’s the easiest way to expedite your shipment. 

   1. Send us your commercial invoice once your shipper has shipped your item to our warehouse.

   2. Go to our website and click Send your Invoice in our menu tab at the top of the page. Fill out the form with your carrier tracking number and attach your commercial invoice. 

   3. Once your package arrives at our warehouse, an operator will scan it and the alert will automatically attach the commercial invoice to your package. 

2. Vitamins: You can only import two of the exact same vitamins at a time.

   1. As per Colombian import law, you are only allowed to import two of the same types of vitamins at a time. This is to ensure that what you are importing is more personal use and not commercial use. 

   2. You can import one type of Vitamic A, Vitaminc C, and Vitmain B at the same time. What you can’t import is more than two Vitamin C at a time. 

3. Clothes and shoes: You can only import three of the same type of clothing at a time

   1. Similar to the vitamin restriction above, you can only import two of the same types of articles of clothing at a time to ensure they are for personal use and not commercial use. 

4. You cannot import used clothes

   1. The clothing you are importing must be new, with tags. You cannot import pre-owned clothing.

5. Cellphones must have a commercial invoice and IMEI each

   1. Customs in Colombia requires each cellphone have its own commercial invoice and IMEI number. Please send us this information via ticket when you have it.

6. You can only import one perfume at a time

   1. This is to ensure perfumes being imported are for personal use and not commercial use.

7. Shipments up to $200 USD and up to 50 kilos do not pay duties or taxes in Colombia.

   1. If the shipper sends different orders in one single order that make the order either above $200 USD or above 50 kilos, we will provide the customer with the option to separate shipments in order to benefit from this import law.
